The People Behind the Screens
Building a proper workstation takes more than a credit card. It takes trial, error, and a lot of cable ties. We created Workstation Wizard because we got tired of generic advice. You know the kind. “Buy a good chair.” That helps no one.
We test monitor arms that sag under the weight of a 49-inch ultrawide. We find the storage solutions that actually fit a full-tower PC without suffocating the intake fans. We document the exact VESA mount configurations that save your neck. Real testing. Real setups. Real opinions.
Lead Engineer and Editor: Siul López
Software Engineer | B.S. Computer Science
Siul spends ten hours a day writing code. That kind of screen time breaks you if your setup is wrong. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and works as a full-time Software Engineer. He built Workstation Wizard to solve his own ergonomic nightmares.
Siul handles our technical deep dives. He tests KVM switches, dual-monitor daisy-chaining, and local storage arrays. He rejects products that look good on paper but fail under heavy daily use. If a hub drops connection during a large file transfer, he documents it.

Our Testing and Research Team
We do not rely on a single perspective. Workstation Wizard brings together specialists who understand the physical and technical demands of a high-performance desk environment.
Dr. Aris Thorne | Ergonomics Consultant
Aris spent six years studying occupational biomechanics before joining our review board. He evaluates every chair and desk setup for actual spinal support, not just marketing claims.
Mateo Vargas | Hardware and Storage Specialist
Mateo builds custom network-attached storage solutions and multi-monitor rigs for video editors. He knows exactly which monitor arms will buckle under a heavy 32-inch display.
Elena Rostova | Workspace Architect
Elena designs productivity layouts for remote teams. She obsesses over cable management routing and lighting configurations that reduce optical fatigue.
Our Editorial Standards
We do not publish press releases. We do not accept free hardware in exchange for positive coverage. If a highly rated standing desk wobbles at max height, we say so.
Our testing process is brutal. We assemble the furniture. We mount the displays. We route the cables. We sit at the desks for weeks.
We actively ignore the hype.
Here is what we refuse to cover on Workstation Wizard:
- Cheap, unbranded monitor arms that risk dropping your hardware.
- Gamer-aesthetic chairs that lack proper lumbar support.
- Theoretical setups we have not personally verified.
- Storage drives with known high failure rates.
Get in Touch
We read every email. Readers constantly write in about their specific dual-monitor struggles or KVM switch failures. We use those questions to shape our next testing cycle.
If you have a specific setup problem, reach out to the team at [email protected]. We aim to reply within 48 hours.
